Ruth Tilestone, daughter of Thomas, was born about 1637 probably Dorchester, Norfolk, Massachusetts. [1] Thomas Tileston was one of the original January 1636 proprietor's of Dorchester.[2]

Ruth Teleston (Tileston), widow Denton, married 2nd Timothy Foster (1638/40-1688) on 13 Oct 1663, Dorchester, Suffolk county, Massachusetts. She was his 2nd wife.
Dorchester was a town in Norfolk County before it was annexed to Boston in Suffolk County.
