Member of Bookwalter United Methodist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Preceded in death by husband, Richard (Dick) G. Wright, Jr. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Denny Griswold, Kingsport, Tenn.; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard G. III and Kathy Wright, John T. and Judy Wright, all of Knoxville; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Marie Tillery; brother, Raymond Tillery, all of Knoxville. Funderal service 2 p.m. Sunday at Stevens Chapel, Rev. Graland James officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Monday for an 11 a.m. graveside service and interment. Pallbearers: James Carroll Starnes, James Painter, Hal Huggins, Ed Bryson, Scott Griswold, Jason Wright, Sam Parker. Memorials may be made to the Katherine T. Wright Memorial Fund at Bookwalter United Methodist Church, 4218 Central Ave., Knoxville, TN 37912. The family will receive friends immediately following the 2 p.m. chapel service Sunday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at Broadway." (Knoxville News-Sentinel)
