William Henry was baptised on 15th January 1832 by parents James and Abia. They lived at Littledean Hill and James was a Collier. [1] In 1841 he was living with parents James and Abia plus sisters Elizabeth and Margaret in Littledean Woodside. His father was an Iron Ore Miner. [2]
James died in 1848 and in 1851 William aged 19 was a Coal Miner and living with his mother and 2 siblings, Elijah aged only 2. [3]
William was living with the same household 10 years later in 1861. Both boys were Coal Miners. [4]
In 1877 William Henry married Prudence Attwood in Cheltenham. [5]
In 1881 William and Prudence lived next door to his mother Abia and Elijah [6] The couple had no children.
William Henry Tingle died 14 December 1906 aged 75. He had been living at Heywood, Cinderford, Gloucestershire and his death was registered at Westbury on Severn, Gloucestershire, England [7] Probate went to his widow Prudence Ann, Frederick Cooper Fagence and Amos Hale. [8]
