The Elizabeth Tipton who married Charles Reno Reneau was the daughter of Jonathan. Evidence Explained would indicate that this is true. There is just no proof that Joseph Tipton and Elizabeth Denton even had a daughter named Elizabeth. Many researchers have this error due to the repeat of many given names in the Tipton pedigree and it has been continued for generations. So I have unlinked Tipton-250 for this marriage and left the marriage between Elizabeth Tipton-204 to Charles Reno/Reneau. I have also unlinked this Elizabeth Tipton to parents, Tipton 203 and Denton-1684.
