Jane (Tipton) Coplen was born in 1804 in Coshocton, Ohio, United States. Her parents were Absalom Tipton and Mary Polly Boggs Tipton. She married Richard Coplen on 11 Oct 1827 in Coshocton, Ohio. In 1850 she was living in Newcastle, Fulton, Indiana, with her husband Richard, and children: William, Elijah, Isaac, Mary, Ransom, and James. She passed away on 24 Nov 1858 in Lyon Kansas. Jane is buried in the Haworth Cemetery, Plymouth, Lyon County, Kansas, USA.
