Biography

Abigail was born about 1714. She is the daughter of John Tisdale and Abigail Unknown.[1]

Abigail Tisdale was born, probably at Taunton, MA, about 1711 based on her age at death. She is the daughter of John and Abigail (possibly Burt) Tisdale of Taunton and a descendant of Mayflower passenger THOMAS ROGERS.

She married, about 1729 based on the birth of her first child, James Hewett of Dighton, MA. James, son of Solomon and Sarah (Waterman) Hewett, was born at Marshfield, MA on November 21, 1706. He is a descendant of Mayflower passenger RICHARD WARREN.

They removed to Bridgewater, MA but when is unknown. All the births of their children are recorded there and their baptisms are recorded at West Bridgewater, MA.[2]
