Biography

Filippo Todaro is born and baptized 1 January 1817, named after his paternal grandfather. He is the first born child of Giovanni Todaro and Brigitta Grizzaffi. His godparents are Carmelo d'Anna and Pasqua Mustacchia, wife of Angelo.

His mother dies three years later, delivering her third child, who dies in infancy. Giovanni remarries three months after Brigitta's death.

Filippo dies at age 25 (reportedly age 24) on 28 February 1842. This record does not mention whether he has ever married. His father survives him.
