Biography
Sarah Todd, b. March 30, 1752, died March 30, 1810, married James Evarts, of Sunderland, Vermont. Children:
Jeremiah Evarts, b. Feb. 3, 1781, d. May 10, 1831, m. Mehitabel, daughter of Roger Sherman Barnes, of New Haven, Conn., graduated from Yale, 1802; lawyer, the Cong. minister, Sec. A. B. C. F. M.; editor of the Panoplist. Resided in New Haven, later in Boston, Massachusetts.
Sarah Evarts, b. April 26, 1786, d. March 15, 1841, m. Hercules, son of Josiah and Phebe (Cushing) Washburn, of Randolph, Vermont., who was b. Nov. 3, 1788, d. Nov. 23, 1849.
Mary Evarts, died aged 16.
Jonathan Todd Evarts, b. Sept. 16, 1791, d. Aug. 24, 1875, m. Electa Wilcox, who was b. July 22, 1794, d. June 21, 1870.
Elizabeth Evarts, m. Lewis Conant, of Westford, Vermont.
