The family dwelling had 4 rooms with 1 or more windows.[18]

1871 the Village of Milton, Parish of Carmyllie, Forfarshire, Scotland. Note: "That part of the Parish which is bounded on the West by the Road which leads from East and West hills to South boundary of Parish, on the North by the Road leading West hills Eastward to Redford, Redford Burn and Arbirlot, on the East by Arbirlot and on the South by Arbirlot and Panbride to Carnegie Road. Milton Village and Greystone Village are comprised within this Enumeration Division." Enumerated with 14-year-old domestic servant Betsy Kidd, born in Carmyllie, and unmarried boarder James Robb, a corn miller born in Inverkeillor. The family dwelling had 3 rooms with 1 or more windows.[19]
