Biography

David Todd, son of Jeremiah Todd, grandson of James Todd, great-grandson of John Todd, born 7 October 1742; married (intentions 21 Sep 1765) to Sarah Haskell of Ipswich. His home was part of the farm known as the Searle Place. He died 15 July 1811. His widow, Sarah, died 12 April 1823, aged 79 years. Children:

1. Sarah Todd, born 7 Nov 1768; m. Jacob Ellsworth
2. Joanna Todd, b 20 Nov 1770; d 23 Oct 1836; unmarried
3. Jeremiah Todd, b 27 Apr 1775; m. (int. 8 Oct 1803) Tabitha Stephens of Bridgton, Maine; died in Rowley [MA] 30 Apr 1826. She d. in Rowley 3 Sep 1843, aged 62 years 9 months. Children of record in Rowley: George b 3 jan 1811, d in Salem 28 July 1830; Lucy Ann b 16 Aug 1814, d. 20 Aug 1868 unmarried.
