Funeral services for Sibyl L. Tollett, 85, of Pikeville, who passed away Sept. 20, 1996, were held Monday, Sept. 23 in the chapel of Putnam-Reed Funeral Home. Rev. Doyle Ashburn officiated. Burial will be in the Tollett Cemetery. Mrs. Tollett was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Crave Tollett. Pallbearers were Bill Tollett, John Austin, Tom Evitt, Bob Parham, Buck Tollett, Pat Agee. Survivors include nieces, Rebecca Sterzer of Pikeville, Hilda Warner of Elyria, Ohio, and Linda Austin of Memphis; nephew, Bob Parham of Cookeville; special niece and nephew, Shirley Evitt of Crossville and Bill Tollett of Pikeville. Putnam-Reed Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
