Eliza Tomlin was born in about 1816 in Godalming, Surrey. She was christened on 14 Jul 1816 at St Peter and St Paul's Church in Godalming (Anglican).
Eliza married George Butler Holden, a bootmaker, on 6 April 1843 in Godalming.
Eliza died 5 Aug 1877, aged 61, at her home in Godalming High Street. She was buried on 11 Aug 1877 in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the consecrated section.
