Biography
Ida Harriet Tomlinson was born April 28, 1857. She is the daughter of Frederick Tomlinson and Mary Ann Parr. They were a Farming family. At the age of 17, Ida married James Thomas Davis in Walton, Hants County, Nova Scotia on July 28, 1874 by Baptist License, the Reverend J. Bancroft officiating.Witnesses to the nuptials included J. Davis, Nicholas Davis. Ida died at the age of 89 years 2 months 15 days in Gormanville, East Hants, Nova Scotia.

When James went out west, Ida and James were seperated but not divorced. Ida then lived with Walter Halliday, who had one eye. His other eye was put out by his ex wife who threw a fork at him, and hit him in the eye. [1]
