Joan was born about 1684 and lived until about 1730.

Residence was recorded in Quaker meeting records on 12 Sep 1706.[1]

1705/06,1,12 William Scot "the elder" con (condemned) his connection with the disorderly m of his s, John, to Joan Tooke in Levy Neck MH (Meeting House)[2]

1706, 4, 13 John Scot, s William Ile of Wight Co., dis (disowned) m Joan Took, dt of Tho Took of Isle of Wight Co, she not being a Fr (Friend)[2]
1706, 7, 12. John con (condemned) being a subscriber to the m cert (marriage certification) of John Scott & Joan Tooke when they were m in Levy Neck MH[3]
Although it appears Joan wasn't a Friend, her father was and hosted many meetings at his home.[4] (more research needed).
