Biography

This profile is part of the Toombs Name Study.

She is said to be buried in Toombs Cemetery in White County, Illinois. This was a family cemetery near Herald. It is not listed on Find a Grave & no markers are left for her final resting place. Terry Baker Sr., a Bryant Surname historian supplied Sarah & William's Family Cemetery. It is probably on land that was owned by her Toombs Relatives where her family members were already buried.[1][2]

They had an unamed son that was born about 1825 in White County, Illinois and possibly died as an infant.[3] They also reportedly had a daughter Lucinda F. that was born about 1828

Her husband died first and she buried him on her relatives land though there :were several cemeteries in White County. She followed shortly after on August 25, 1853. All information from the this GedCom Import confirmed at Find A Grave.

Her son Newton states on the 1880 Census that she was born in Ky. instead of Virginia. Sarah is the gr, gr, gr, gr grand mother of Pike-2301
