Biography

She was born in Eaton Socon, Bedfordshire on 10 June 1833, parents John Topham and Jane Thornton.[1]

They were living in Eaton Socon in 1841 - John Topham 40; Jane Topham 35; John Topham 15; William Topham 14; Hannah Topham 12; Farah Topham 9; Elizabeth Topham 7; Joseph Topham 5; Jane Topham 3; Thomas Topham 1. All born in Bedfordshire.[2]

She emigrated to Utah in 1845.

She was living in Great Salt Lake county, Great Salt Lake, Utah Territory in 1850 - John Topham, 21 Butcher b England; Elizabeth Topham 17 b England[3]

Vincent Shurtleff m. (3) in Salt Lake City, Dec. 4, 1850, Elizabeth Topham, b. in Eaton Socon, Bedfordshire, Eng., June 10, 1833. [4]

She was living in Utah age 47 in 1880. Also in the household was John Topham 80 born England, probably her father.[5]

She died on 19 April 1918 at Ogden, Weber, Utah .[6]
