Biography
Agnes was born in 1888. She is the daughter of Thomas Torrens and Martha Witherington. [1]
In 1901 the Torrens family are living in Ballynameen, Thomas 50, and his wife Martha 51, and their children: William 20, Mary 18, John 16, and Aggie 12. [2]
In 1911 the Torrens family were living in Ballynameen (Garvagh), Thomas 60, his wife Martha 57, and their children William 30, Mary 28 and Agnes 22. They had been married 33 years with 6 children, though one had died.[3]
