Matilda was born on 10 Dec 1899 in New Hudson, Allegany, New York.[citation needed] She was the daughter of Afton Duane Swift and Nancy Jane Sowersby.[citation needed]
She died on 27 Oct 1947 in Olean, Cattaraugus, New York.[citation needed] She is buried in Bellville Cemetery in New Hudson, Allegany, New York.
