Biography

Daughter of James Moore Towles and Mary Anne (Callum) Towles

75 years of age at time of death. She died in Winston, N.C. she was: Wife of Calvin H. Wiley. Early in the marriage, they lived at "Woodburn", the Wiley Plantation 1 1/2 miles Southwest of Alamance Church, in Guilford Co. Calvin preceded her in death, and she was laid to rest beside him.

She resided on Spruce St. in Winston-Salem, at the time of her death.


The land that Calvin H. & Mittie Wiley lived on was originally owned by: John Wiley Jr. & wife Rebecca (Wiley) Wiley d/o Robert Wiley Sr. & wife Jane B. Dicky. John Wiley Jr. is s/o John & Sarah (nee: Morrison),Lesley, Wiley Sr.
