In 1862, Lucy arrived in Otago with her family on the ship Eureka from Victoria.
She married Richard Ruff Bayley, son of Sarah Ann Ruff and Richard Bayley, in 1891. They settled at Castle Street, Dunedin. No known children were born in their marriage.
Lucy died age 91 and is buried at Andersons Bay cemetery. BLK 48 PLOT 7.[1]
