How do we know that Veronica, the daughter of Trachsel-42 and Hunsecker-3, is the same woman who married John Vincent Stauffer? In the records for Drachsel-1, I only see references to her father's name, but never her mother's. In the information for Trachsel-42, the father of Trachsel-46, that says he arrived in 1737 on the ship Samuel, I don't see any indication that he had a daughter Veronica.

Neither the name Johnannes Drachsel/Trachsel, nor Veronica Drachsel/Trachsel is uncommon, and there could have been many parent/daughters by those names in that time frame.

I'm rejecting this merge. If you have further information that would support a merge, please let me know. Thanks!

Drachsel-1 and Trachsel-46 appear to represent the same person because: The last name can be found as Drachsel, Trachsel, Troxell, or Troxel. Her dad, Johannes Hans Trachsel came over in 1733 on the ship Samuel with the name Johann Drachsel.

Drachsel-1 and Trachsel-46 do not represent the same person because: See my comments on Trachsel-46.
