Biography

Sir Henry de Trafford^[1]

Henry was the son of Sir Henry de Trafford and his wife, Margery, who, when widowed by Sir Henry's death, married Sir Richard Radclyffe of Ordsall.^[1]

Henry married Elizabeth, the daughter of Sir Ralph Radclyffe of Ordsall.^[1]

Henry and Elizabeth had children:

1. Henry de Trafford, died in 1412 aged 26, married Agnes;^[1]
2. Sir Edmund de Trafford, heir to his brother Henry, knighted at the coronation of King Henry VI of England, died 1457, married Alice, the daughter and coheir of Sir William Venables of Bolyne, heir of Mascy and Fitton;^[1]
