In 4 Edward VI, at Lancaster in Lancashire, William Colteman was the Plaintiff in a pleading versus Sir Bryan Brereton, Knight, and Dame Alice his wife, widow of Sir William Leylond, Knight, Defendants, in a disputed claim of debt for money lent.[1]
Alice survived her husband, Urian. Sir Uryan Brereton was buried on 31 March, 1577, at Cheadle St Mary, Cheshire.[2]
Dame Alice Brereton was buried on 16 June, 1578, at Cheadle St Mary, Cheshire.[3]
