Margaret Trafford (b. c. 1490 - d. 10 May 1540), was the daughter of SIr Edmund Trafford of Trafford, co. Lancs.[1] She's sometimes called "Dame Margery," or "Old Lady Port."[2]

Longford
m.1 (1492 contract) Nicholas Longford of Longford, co. Derby. (dvp. 1510), son of Ralph Longford (d. 01 Feb 1513; bur. St. Chad of Longford; will 13 Jan 1511).[3][4]
m.2 (19 Aug 1511 Ashton in Makerfield, WInwick, co. Lancs., settlement) Sir Thomas Gerard of Bryn (b. c. 1488 - d. 07 Nov 1523 Battle of Berwick-upon-Tweed, co. Northumb; will 13 Sep 1522).[1][5][6]

m. Jane (living 1523 & 1543), dau. of Peter Legh & Jane Gerard.[8][6]
Margaret's last husband was the judge, Sir John Port "the elder." He was previously married to Jane, dau. of John FitzHerbert. Margaret was his second wife.[2]
m.3 (aft. 1523) Sir John Port of Etwall, co. Derby (b. abt. 1472 Chester, co. Cheshire - d. 14 Mar 1540; bur. Etwall, co. Derby), Justice of the King's Bench.[9][10]
Margery Trafford died on 10 May 1540. By her will, she requested burial at the church in Etwall, co. Derby, next to her husband Sir John Port.[1]
