Biography
Sarah Travis was born in about 1840 in Ohio, United States. She married David H. Stewart, age 49 and a recent widow, on May 02, 1875 in Dixon, Nebraska, United States. [1] Together they had 3 children:
During the 1880 U. S. census for Dakota Territory, Clay County, Village of Burbank enumerates David H. Stewart with his wife Sarah Ann Travis, forty years old, his son William W., seventeen years old, by a previous marriage, and a son Euzra, age two years born in Nebraska , of Sarah. [2]
After David's death in 1900 she married George W. Meeks. They moved to Big Spring Township, Benton, Arkansas. They are enumerated in the 1910 and 1920 census, [3] but they haven't been found in the 1930 census.
