Biography

Rebecca (Treadway) Ramsey was born on 05 Jan 1835 in Buncombe County, North Carolina and was the daughter of Aaron Treadway and Priscilla Davis.

Rebecca Treadway married Woodard William Ramsey (1831-1885) on 21 Jul 1851 in Madison County, North Carolina.[1][2] Their children were:

  3. Christenia Priscilla (Ramsey) Anders (1860–1941)
  4. James M. "Jim" Ramsey (1861–1952)

  7. Rachel Emeline (Ramsey) Chandler (1865-1939)

Rebecca passed away at age 92 on 8 Jan 1925 in Walnut, Madison County, North Carolina,[3] and was buried on 9 Jan 1925 at Old Station Cemetery, Marshall, Madison County, North Carolina. [4]
