Elizabeth Virginia Trenary Flynn was born in Loudoun County, Virginia; she was the daughter of James Trenary & Anna Clifford Jackson, on the 18th of December 1895 she married Robert Franklin Flynn in Loudoun County, Virginia. Robert is the son of Robert Newton Flynn & his wife Julia Anne Flynn. The couple made their home in Loudoun County raising their 11 children on a family owned and operated farm. Lizzie was your typical farmer's wife working long hard hours but was known for her kind heart and always warming smile. She was widowed in 1950 and passed just two years later she was survived by her three daughters Nellie Elizabeth Lanham, Florence Estelle Tillet and Caroline Ann Virginia Lee and her eight sons Ira Wilson , Lewis Eddings,James Milton, Robert Newton,Hugh Gibson, John William, Herbert Emanuel and Harry Preston Flynn siblings Lillian Trenary Jackson, Maude Estelle Jones, Carrie Evelyn Trenary Downs and James Francis Trenary Jr, 44 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She passed away in Loudoun County, Virginia on November 17, 1952 and is buried in Union Cemetery in Leesburg, Loudoun County, Virginia.[1]
