Note H25The 1930 Federal Census has Gertrude's brother, John E. Trent, living with the family. He was 28 years old at the time and working as a laborer by day. The Census also reported that he had married four years earlier.
The Census also reported that both of Gertrude's parents were born in West Virginia.
