In 1694, he pledged six shillings for support of the local minister. And he helped to build a barn for the Rev. Harriman in 1701.[2]
His will, signed 1716, probated 1726, named wife Hannah, and children Sarah (wife of William Clarke), Abigail (wife ot Daniel Ladner), Benjamin, William, Hannah,
Rebekah, Mary, and an expected child. To brother-in-law Andrew Joline he left 100 acres, "half of the 200 laid out on the right of testator's father William Trotter". He left two additional tracts of unstated size. Wife and children were nonetheless left "most of the real estate".[3]

The profile says Benjamin Trotter was born in Essex, England. All of his siblings were born in the British Colonies. The father's profile has no information about him and his wife returning to England. Is there any primary source, or reliable secondary source that supports Benjamin bring born in England?
I changed birthplace from Essex, England, to Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony based on the Family Files of the Genealogical Society of Bergen County, NJ. [1] Both of Benjamin Trotter's parents emigrated from England. They married in Newbury on 9 Dec 1652. His mother Cutbury had all 7 of her children there.
