When Ann was about 17 she married Richard Daniel Griffith on 26 March 1833 in Guilford, North Carolina, United States.

The family moved from Guilford County, North Carolina to Hopkins County, Kentucky in about 1838.

They moved from there to Stoddard County, Missouri around 1852 and on to Comanche County, Texas by 1860.

They then moved to Polk County, Arkansas before 1870

and then to Eastland County, Texas by 1880.

After Daniel's death in 1886, Ann lived in various locations, to include in 1896 in Chickasaw, Pontotoc, Oklahoma. (Note: Many trees show her dying there at that time, see her Find A Grave for a detailed explanation.)
Ann died on 12 February 1901 in Woodland, Red River, Texas.
