Biography

Baptism: In the Parish of Gresford, County on Denbigh, on the 3 June 1822, Thomas, son of Thomas Trotter of Burton, a gardener and Mary was baptised by Christopher Parkins.

Marriage: Thomas Trotter to Isabella McCallam 1845, Wingello, NSW.

Thomas was born on 29 April 1822 in Wrexham, Wales and passed away on 6 June1899 at Taree, NSW.

There has been a story handed down within the family and also supported at least one outside source that Isabella McCallum was a cook in Bishop Broughton's house at the time Thomas Trotter Jnr was supposed to have been the gardener and it was this way they met. However, it is essential that genealogists acquire a high level of scepticism.
