Flossie was born in 1887. She was the daughter of Francis Trowbridge and Laurentine Veatch. She passed away in 1960.
Mrs Flossie E. (Brattain) Line, 73, Gas City resident, became Marion's first 1960 traffic fatality. The two-car collision occurred at the intersection of 26th
and Gallatin Streets. Mrs Line was taken to Marion General Hospital where she died of a fractured skull, according to the Grant County coroner. She was thrown from her vehicle in the crash. The funeral services were held at the Gas City Christian Church. Her burial took place at the IOOF Cemetery.
