Sarah daughter of James has a family tree source [1] that quotes James Truitt's 1718 will, leaving 10 s. to daughter "Sarah Munfour." I haven't found James's will yet, thought it is also referenced at his MilesFiles profile. No indication of husband's name, however AND George's will clearly leaves property to daughter "Sarah Mumfort" and her son George Mumford. (Ancestry.com's Maryland Calendar of Wills [2])
Given that James Mumford is named in George's will, I suggest detaching wife Sarah, daughter of James Truitt and leaving Sarah, daughter of Georg]e Truitt as James's wife. Sarah, daughter of James must have been married to a different man with the Mumford (or Monford?) surname.
FYI, MilesFiles does list a second James Mumford, c. 1700-after 1774 [3]. I'm sure there are others.
Hello Dawn, Please try to reconcile the differences between Truitt-46 and Truitt-1135. It keeps coming up as an error in WIKI system as married to duplicate person. Thanks, Mary
