On marriage certificate he lists his parents as George Tryon, born in Moira, NY and Jennie Manning, born in Bruston or Burston, NY. The marriage certificate gives his birthplace as Malone, NY.
In 1920 he was working as a hired man for John and Inez Baldwin. He married in March of 1924 to Elsie Harriet Baldwin. They were married by the Rev. Henry C. Newell, a Congregational clergyman of Middlebury, VT. They had one child.
Raymond died in 1958.

RUTLAND
TRYON, Raymond Luther, 54, died unexpectedly at his home on Library Ave. early Wednesday morning.
He was born in Malone, N.Y., May 12, 1903, the son of George and Jannie Manning Tryon.
He leaves his wife, Elsie Baldwin Tryon; a daughter, Miss Shirley Tryon of Harford, Conn.; five sisters, Mrs. Marian MacCrea of Avon Park, Fla., Mrs. Margaret Engle of Albany, N.Y., Mrs. Blanche Kerr of Montreal, Mrs.Charlotte Adams of Woodcliff Lake, N.J., and Mrs. Florence Bradley of Ocean City, N.J..; also two brothers, C. Jack Tryon of Buffalo and Roy Tron [sic] of Dallas, Pa.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 at the Congregational Church in Shoreham. Friends may call at the Waite Funeral Home in Middlebury Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Masonic services will be in charge of Simon's Lodge 59 of Shoreham.[1]
