Judith was the second child born to Daniel Tryon and Almeda Wait. She was baptized on 29 Jan 1840 at St Armand Methodist Church, St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. She married Gilbert Scott, on 24 Feb 1857 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont. There is some confusion about where she died. There is a death record[1] for her at Stanstead, Quebec, Canada that gives her place of death as N. Derby. However there is also a death record for her at Shelburne, Massachusetts which indicates she was a resident there.[2] She travelled to or via Vermont in 1910 and again twice in 1923, the last time in May of that year, when the record indicates her America contact was her son Warren.
