Biography

Hiram was born in Clarenceville, the son of Daniel Tryon and Almeda Wait. He was baptized on 11 Aug 1853 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec^[1] together with his brother Enoch Briggs and sister Mary Almirah.

He married Carrie Yertaw, daughter of Alex Yertaw and Adelaide Hardy, on 10 Mar 1883 at Derby Center, Orleans Co., Vermont.^[2] He married Jane Simcock on 5 Jun 1918 at Beebe, Stanstead Co, Quebec.^[3] He died in Fitch Bay, Estrie Region of Quebec on the 9th of February 1935 and was buried in Fitch Bay Cemetery on the 12th of February.^[4]
