He married Sally Packard 13 May 1827 in Readfield, Maine.[2] Children:

In terms of census information, etc., it is difficult or impossible to disentangle him from his father, also Simeon Tryon, but he is recorded in the birth records of most of his children except James, where he appears in the death record.

He is probably the Simeon Tryon (married Sally Packard) who was the father of Albion M. Tryon : see Tryon-3037. The other Simeon Tryon in Pownal was his father Simeon, so could not have been the one to marry Sally. Simeon and Sally had several children.
