Leon was the fourth child, third son, of Daniel Tryon and Nora Fancher. In 1925 he was living with his father. In 1940 he was living in the household of his sister Dorothy Fisher. He apparently never married, and died in Watertown, New York.
Leon Tryon, 47 Dies in Hospital
The funeral of Leon Tryon was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Weston & Woodard Funeral Home, Sandy Creek: the Rev. E. Kendall Scouten, pastor of the First Methodist church, officated. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek, in the spring.
Mr. Tryon, who was 47, died Sunday night, January 31, 1960 in the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown, where he had been a patient since December 14.
He was born in the town of Sandy Creek November 15, 1912. His parents were Daniel and Nora Tryon. He attended the Sandy Creek school and later was employed on Ellisburg area farms.
Mr. Tryon is survived by a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Fisher of Syracuse; two brothers, Elvin and Earl Tryon of R. D. Pulaski.[1]
