He died in March, 1977 in Pratt, Pratt, Kansas.[2]
Birth
: Several birth dates appear in records. Birth record has 08-01-1883, 1900 US Federal Census has 00-12-1882, WWI draft registration has 05-12-1882; SSDI has 15-12-1882. All are likely to refer to this Leonard as all but the first are from Springvale, Pratt County, Kansas. It is possible that the date on the birth registration is the date at which the birth was registered rather than the date it actually took place. Parents are fairly clearly Joab (it appears as Joah) Tryon and J. C. Jenkins [Mary].
There is no evidence that Leonard ever married or had children.
