NAME: He is sometimes known as Ezra, sometimes as James E., but most frequently as J. Ezra Tryon.

Exact birth date and correct name (James Ezra Tryon) confirmed by his World War I draft registration documents.[1]

He married (1) Lettie R. Segner. Child:

He married (2) Mary L. Ritter, daughter of Amos Ritter and Emma Smith, on 31 Mar 1906 in Wayne County, Ohio.[2] Children:

Margaret Emma Tryon b 12 Dec 1913 OH m (1) Clarence D. Thompson 1937; m. (2) ____ Vanni.

He married (3) Clara Fridline or Fordline (both spellings appear in the index to the same marriage record) on 3 May 1929 in Ashland, Ohio.[3]

It is possible, even probable, that Ezra and Mary were divorced some time before Ezra's third marriage in May 1929.
