Richard, the fourth and youngest son of Thomas Tryon and Anne Trollope, was born in 1837, birth registered in in the 3rd quarter in Oundle, Northamptonshire.[1] He was baptized 24 Sep 1837 in Bulwick.[2]
He was a pupil at Elsher Hill School in Edgeware, Middlesex in 1851.[3]
In 1861 he was an officer serving at First Bass Rifle Brigade North Camp, Farnborough, Hampshire.[4]
He married Jane Anna L. Johnson, the widow of John William Cheney Ewart, in the 2nd quarter of 1867 (Apr-May-Jun), the marriage being registered in Oundle, Northamptonshire.[5]
In 1871 he was a retired officer and a farmer of around 200 acres residing at The Hall, Loddington District 1, Leicestershire, with his wife and two young children.[6]
By 1881 he lived at The Lodge, Oakham, Rutland, England with his wife and six children. He was the sheriff of Rutland and had income from his lands.[7]
In 1891 he lived at The Lodge in Oakham, Lords Hold District 11, and was a magistrate.[8]
In 1901 he still lived at The Lodge in Oakham (District 11), and was justice of the peace.[9]
