"Deane" cites "Bethia" as a daughter of John Hanmore, Sr.[2] but "Anderson" discounts that as a misreading of documents, where Bethiah was really the wife of Joseph Hanmore.[3]

Bethia aka Bethya Tubbs is not a sister to herself, nor did William and Mercy have a child named Bertha. The Bethia, Bethya and Bertha are probably the same person with the different spellings used in those times
