Biography

Bethiah Tubbs, the daughter of William Tubbs and Mercy Sprague, was born about 1641 Duxbury, Massachusetts,^[1]. She married Joseph Hanmore, son of John Hanmore, Sr. of Situate, Massachusetts, on June 24, [1674], in Marshfield, Massachusetts. She probably died in Pembroke, Massachusetts.^{[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]}

Research Notes

• "Deane" cites "Bethia" as a daughter of John Hanmore, Sr.^[2] but "Anderson" discounts that as a misreading of documents, where Bethiah was really the wife of Joseph Hanmore.^[3]
