Biography

Joseph was born about 1703, probably in Duxbury, Massachusetts. He was the son of Joseph Tubbs (abt.1675-1740) and Hannah (Trewant) Tubbs (1680-1713).[1]

On 11 December 1729, Joseph married Elizabeth Randall in Pembroke, Massachusetts.[2]

Their children, born in Pembroke:

  1. Benjamin, b. 10 Jul 1732[3]
  2. Ruth, b. 1 Sep 1734[4]
  3. Ebenezer, b. 5 Sep 1736[5]

Joseph, Jr. died 19 January 1743 in Pembroke, Massachusetts.[6] There is a probate record for him, but his will is not in the paperwork.[7]

In 1756, an account of his estate was recorded which included the names of his only heirs, Benjamin Tubbs and Ruth Tubbs.[8]
