Biography

The third child of Isaac Tuck and Christian (Parsons) Tuck, Edward was born in Frome, Somerset, England in 1823. Sometime after their father and possibly their mother died, he and his siblings moved to North America in about 1840. Edward and three siblings moved to Ontario Canada, George moved to Michigan USA and Martha moved to Canada and subsequently also to Michigan.

In 1869, he married Eliza Baker in Mt Brydges Ontario and, while he worked as a merchant, they had eight children. Edward died in 1886 at the age of 63 in Middlesex County after which Eliza carried on the business then married twice more before dying in 1934 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 85.
