Biography

As Robert "Tooke," he was baptized St. Stephen, Norwich, 31 October 1619,^[1][2][3] the son of Robert Tooke/Tuck and his wife, Joan/Joanna Collens/Collins. He died in Gorleston, Suffolk, England, between 17 March 1681/2 (date of will) and 28 April 1682 (will probate).^[4]

Robert married before say 1646 (estimated birth of eldest child), but the name of his wife is not known.

Robert is not believed to have immigrated to New England with his parents and siblings.^[5]

In 1670[?/1] son William carried Robert²'s power of attorney to New England to collect a portion of the immigrant's estate.^[6]
