Biography

Jonathan Tuck was born in 1736 in Hampton, New Hampshire. He was the son of Jonathan Tuck Sr. and Tabitha (Towle) Tuck. He inherited a grist mill from his father's estate. He married (1) Betty Batchelder in 1766 and they had a daughter: Elizabeth "Betty" (1768). Following his wife's death in 1772, he married (2) Huldah Moulton and they had four children: Josiah (1773-1856) Jonathan (1776-1809 Samuel (1778-1860 and John (1780-1847). He died in 1780 in Hampton, New Hampshire
