Biography
George Robert Tuck, son of Thomas Tuck and his wife, Mary Saul, was baptised at Strumpshaw in Norfolk on 22 April 1806. [1] [2]
He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge in 1828 with a BA (9th Wrangler) and was ordained priest in 1832. In 1838 he obtained the living at Wallington in Hertfordshire which enabled him to marry. [3] His bride was Marianne Collin daughter of the Reverend John Collin, Rector of Quendon and his wife, Anne Fisher, whom he married at her father's church at Quendon in Essex on 26 June 1838. George died on 7 February 1878 at Wallington [6] leaving an estate valued at less than £50,000. [7] He was buried at Blofeld [8]
