Biography

Hannah was born in 1749[1], the daughter of Nathan Tupper and Experience Gibbs of Rochester, Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Hanna emigrated to Liverpool, Nova Scotia circa 1759 with her family.

Hannah Tupper married Nathaniel Freeman in 1766.[2], and their children included

  1. John, July 16, 1767 ; d. July 7, 1770, in Liverpool
  2. Martha, Sept. 15, 1768; married Hallett Collins.
  3. Nathaniel, Feb. 19, 1770; m. Rebecca Hopkins. 2
  4. Hannah, Dec. 19, 1771 ; m. John Gorham, son of Jabez, and d. 1854, at age. 83
  5. John, born May 2, 1774, a twin, who died wthout issue[3]
  6. Nathan, born May 2, 1774, a twin, who died wthout issue[3]
  7. Enoch, May 2, 1778 ; m. Rebecca Gardner.
  8. Abigail, Nov. 19, 1796; m. James Slocomb

She passed away in 1811.
