It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:

From what I can tell, the John Turner who is son of James Turner and Janet Miller was christened in Scotland 17 Feb 1680, according to the FamilySearch pedigree file that it seems is the source for his parents' profiles, citing "Scotland Births and Baptisms, 1564-1950", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XY87-LZ6 : 11 February 2020), John Turner, 1680.

I don't see that there's anything to support that this John Turner is the son of James Turner or Janet Miller. I would recommend detaching this profile from them.

This John Turner seems to be the father of five other John Turners, varying birth dates and locations. Can't some of them be merged? Most have no manager.
