Biography

Billie's husband, Clarence Lee Taylor "Red" went to California just after the 1920 census.

We have his social sec record that says he worked for the O.N. Crafts (which is a carnival company) He and Billie, his 2nd wife, and his son Herschel Lofton, and Herschel's wife Jerry, traveled around California working on the carnival operating the bumper cars.

After WW II broke out Hersh got a job at Douglas Aircraft and we don't know if Clarence worked there as well. We believe Clarence and Billie moved back to Greeley Colorado about that time. Billie's family was in Greeley. Where, according to his death cert he was a "boiler maker"

There is a divorce record for Clarence Lee Taylor & Lulu Greer-Taylor/a marriage record for him in Las Vegas Nevada. He remarried Billie Turner.

My brother, sister and I, 3 of his grandkids, would be part of the "numerous other relatives" I guess.

Billie kept in touch with my mom, 'Jerry Taylor' even after Clarence, my estranged Grandfather, who never made an attempt to ever visit us or write. He passed away after I graduated High school.
